Don't Do It Yourself!

Why not do everything yourself, after all, if it works kindah good, it's fine, right?
Oh, noooooeeeeessss...this is not the answer! Take a look at some of the wonderful pictures that I found on the web. There's chimneys, animals, and oh, my!

This family found a creative way to stop their skylight from leaking. It's a piece of sheet metal, held down by a tire, that's secured to a vent pipe with a string. Nice.

                    This is how a DIYer decided to fix their leaky flue. It's Aluminum Foil. Sure!

                                   How about this creative approach to a grate on your chimney?
                                                  And you can barbecue on it, too!

 Eeek, there's the reason why the bees are in the house - sometimes this is unavoidable - but a better cap might have helped. 

                             Uhm....I guess they didn't have enough money to add more pipe? 

        Here again - why bother adding more pipe? The smoke will never go in the window, right? 

  

*Cough* Cough* I wonder why the stove is smoky? I think they were cooking bacon on it for years.

                     This has to be my favorite for today - yes, Rubbermaid has other purposes!
